Athento Cloud Monitoring Processes
- Verónica Meza
Athento's cloud service is actively monitored to guarantee performance.
The 24x7 platform is used for monitoring purposes. This tool allows us to control the availability and state of the infrastructure, as well as the availability of the instances of our cloud clients.
Athento monitors:
- The performance of our HTTPS, DNS, SSL, POP, URLs and APIs from more than 60 global locations (or through wireless carriers) and within a private network.
Outages and pinpoint server issues and their root cause.
- Servers status (memory, CPU, disk usage, etc).
- Performance degradations.
- Critical network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls.
- Response times
Sentry
This tool sends us emails with information about error traces. This tool allows us real-time error tracking and gives us insight into production deployments and information to reproduce and fix crashes.
Ghost Inspector
We use this tool to perform automated login tests to the platform. A robot takes care of following the same steps that a user would follow when trying to log in to the application. If the login page is not found or the login takes too long, this application will inform us of possible availability problems.
Run Scope
This online service allows us to verify that our APIs are returning the correct data.
